How do I apply for a dual diploma?
Start with your official transcript. The US school reviews the courses you have taken in Türkiye, identifies any missing graduation requirements and builds your course plan. You earn the two diplomas when you complete both schools’ requirements.

Seven steps at VHS Learning Academy
Discuss your goals
Speak to Scholege, the enrollment office in Türkiye, about your grade, English, goals and available study time.
Gather your records
Request an official transcript from your current school and gather any English assessment results. The local office checks the records and sends them to the Academy.
Have the transcript reviewed
The Academy’s academic team decides which courses meet graduation requirements. Transfer credits count toward graduation. Only courses completed at the Academy count toward its GPA.
Discuss English readiness
The program expects at least WIDA Level 4. Ask how your English will be assessed and see what that level means in class.
Agree on a course plan
Review remaining credits, course prerequisites and your readiness. The partner program requires at least 5.5 credits and at least 25% of courses through the Academy.
Complete your courses
Most work is asynchronous. The 2026–2027 school profile lists 15-week semester and 33-week full-year courses. Confirm the dates for your course when enrolling. Teachers provide feedback and families receive progress reports.
Receive the documents
When both schools’ requirements are complete, your Turkish school issues its diploma and the Academy issues an official transcript and diploma. The local office coordinates delivery of the US diploma, cap and gown.
Before the first meeting
- Request your official course and grade records.
- Bring English test results if available, or ask about assessment.
- Check that you have a computer and reliable internet access without firewall restrictions on course materials.
- Use the workload calculator to make room for weekly deadlines.
